The preperation of a commercial EPC is a very extensive process, much more intense than the process required to produce an EPC for a domestic property.
A full and detailed survey of the premises, recording the detailed construction and the service installations is required . The collected data is entered into a programme, SBEM (Simplified Building Energy model) which assists in producing a recommendations report and the EPC.
